IMO is proud to support Locksley Resources (ASX: LSR) in advancing the metallurgical testwork for their Mojave Antimony Project, paving the way for 100% Made in America antimony.
Peter Adamini, Technical Manager at IMO, has applied his extensive antimony expertise to oversee the program, ensuring the testing was optimised to generate reliable and actionable results. The program focused on a 23.1 kg composite sample from Desert Antimony Mine (DAM), grading 9.6% antimony.
Metallurgical Program Highlights:
- Management of initial metallurgical testing for Mojave antimony
- Tailored flotation flowsheet design with varied reagents, rougher stages, conditioning times and grind sizes to evaluate processing performance
Key Results:
- Excellent metallurgical recoveries:
82.9% – 85.9%, validating that the Mojave Project can supply the feedstock required to underpin a domestic mine-to-market antimony supply chain - High-grade initial rougher concentrate of 59.6% Antimony (R04-stage 1) indicates antimony minerals liberate naturally from the initial grind, with rougher concentrate regrinding and cleaning expected to achieve a high-grade concentrate at high Antimony recovery
Supporting Project Advancement
IMO’s involvement ensures Locksley Resources benefits from expert metallurgical guidance, helping inform future testwork and strategic development – reducing project risk and supporting investment confidence.
At IMO, we deliver independent metallurgical consulting and laboratory testwork management across the full project lifecycle – from initial programs to production readiness.
We look forward to continuing our collaboration with Locksley Resources and supporting the success of the Mojave Antimony Project.
